How did you go about getting this internship?

I was searching for countless internships online and came across the opportunity at MSG and applied and got the interview.

What was your greatest challenge in finding an internship?

The greatest challenge was applying for internships and then not hearing back from the company at all. I was told it is a numbers game when applying, so I applied to several internships to only hear back from a handful.

What did you learn/gain from your summer internship experience?

I learned the importance of strong communication skills, time manageI learned how a big brand like MSG can cohesively communicate and produce quality experiences for their customers and employees among every department and every brand they represent. I gained the experience needed to go into the field of sports and entertainment working with multiple brands like the Knicks, Rangers and Rockettes.

What do you hope to be doing professionally after graduation?

Working in the Communication / Public Relations industry

What advice would you give fellow Bobcats seeking internships?

Apply, Apply, Apply. Send out your resume to as many companies and employers as you can and honestly shoot for your goals because you never know, you might end up getting that interview or internship from that really cool company you just applied to for “fun”.
